No need to overdo it but cinnamon is fine.

Made this today, added juice of half a lemon to the mix, baked 35 minutes added more water, (it condenses), baked 20 more minutes, grilled my 100 g of chicken and served to laying in the "pie" sauce with the apples like a chutney on top! Omg! The dinner bomb, nothing dietie about this dish.

I did not use vanilla stevia, just plain stevia because it gets plenty sweet and I knew I was adding my chicken.

If you liked my cucumber salad, you'll flip for this apple-chicken! It was delightful. My family loved it

I use a very similar recipe for the cucumber salad. Have for years. Can't wait for the chicken.

    Try this

I would crush Melba toast over the apples before baking so when it was done cooking it had a "crust". It was delicious!
