Unhappy On Day 6 of p3....and frustrated!!!

Let me just show you what my morning weigh-ins have looked like. I'm going to call my final weight from p2 0. So anything above 0 is a a gain.

    P3
    Day 1- 0
    Day 2- 1.2
    Day 3- 1.2
    Day 4- 2.4 steak day
    Day 5- 1.0
    Day 6- 2.2 today

So! As you can see this feels like a roller coaster for me! I just keep gaining! The only time I have lost some of the new gain is after steak day. And I haven't been back to my starting point once!! So I am officially frustrated. Can someone please help me with this???????

It also looks like today has to be another steak day.... Is it still effective when I've only had 1 day in between my last steak day?

The steak day is still effective even if you just did one. You are still in the protein loading days of P3. Are you getting enough lean protein? Stick with P2 foods just increase the amounts for the first week. Too much new foods, too much fat, not enough lean protein can lead to a gain. The first 3 weeks aren't usually a stable weight, but it will level off. Sadie will be back Monday and will respond to your question. She's very helpful. Good luck

Jaqui, if you go to Sadie's Lounge under Daily Check in, page 396, she has directions for a lean day. A lean day is done when you're close to needing a steak day. The post was dated 7/9/2014. Hope it helps!

    Unhappy Sunday update

Yah I have the lean day info already, but thank u! I'm not eating anything crazy at a all. Lots of meat and veggies mostly, and rarely a small amount of dairy. Oh and fruits! And stevia drops. That's basically it!! I know that I could go back to eating only p2 foods if worse come to worse.... But that's no way to live!! And the maintenance phase is not supposed to be that limiting.... So what gives???! I thought we were able to eat literally anything we want, with the exception of starches and sugars? Because that's what I've been doing.

Still frustrated if you haven't noticed. Lol

But today's weight was 0.2!! So at least the steak day was more effective this time. So that's part is good. But yes it would be great to hear her experienced opinion on this one! ))

I'm glad that the steak day was effective for you and you are only .2 over your last dose weight. Maintenance is about introducing foods slowly. A lot of people are under the assumption that they can go right back to eating anything they want once they hit maintenance, as long as there are no sugars and starches. And while this may be true for some customers, we always recommend bringing in foods slowly. Are you eating a protein snack every 2-3 hours during this first week? The first week on maintenance should be very protein focused as Tiffany mentioned above. This will help get your weight stabilized, so you can start to introduce new foods and still maintain within the 2lb range.

Sadie thank u for replying.... But I regret to say that that is exactly what I am doing. Lots of protein, lots of snacks, introducing things one at a time to monitor.... And still not finding a correlation to the massive roller coaster. Any other ideas?

What foods have you introduced? What foods and beverages are you consuming? How long have you been on maintenance total and how many rounds have you done total?

New foods- very lean steak, salmon in the last couple days, bell peppers, coconut, pineapple (small amount), milk, some cheese, some pure organic oils....I think that's about it

Foods and bevs- lots of the ingredients from p2 but cooked in a better way with more veggies then 1 in a meal, tons of water, stevia drops, a small amount of dairy occasionally, coffee usually black. Homemade mayo, ketchup, strawberry sauce, teriyaki sauce - all sauces made with approved ingredients that r mostly just herbs and spices and stevia for sweetener

Today is my 11th day on p3, and this is my first round ever.

Are you eating any chicken or seafood other than salmon while introducing new foods? How has your weight been doing these last few days? How long have you been on maintenance total and what does your weight loss/gain look like for those total days?
