Fresh Premade Salads and Prepped Veggies - It Has been 17 days...
So I totally am going to swear by this... I know it is not a new thing for some of you, but I just recently stumbled upon this idea...
Mixed green salads and vegetables... Even in the crisper, the shelf life is not that stellar... Try making your salads into mason jars and they keep so very well that I tried it with broccoli and bell pepper and green onion and chopped red onions... I put these things into the jars in the fridge 2 and a half weeks ago and they are still just as fresh as the day I bought them! To test the freshness, I even used a knife on the lettuce and there is none of the usual browning at all!
I am enjoying one of my 17 day old salads now...
P3D10 Staying below LDW by 1-3 pounds... No super swings... eating just about anything without major consequence... Had a couple of dinners that were just too late...
Really enjoying relearning how to eat and stay where I need to be. Working on the slideshow... Lots of cropping...
Thanks all!

Robyn, Congrats on the stability! Phase 3 is so awesome isn't it. Thank you so much for that tip! I had no idea that worked so well. Will any jar with a metal lid work?

I think so, but I have only tried mason type jars. I think it might be something with the two piece lid...

I see. I will keep that in mind.
