For mine I just saute a tomato with salt, pepper and garlic powder until it softens up, and then I add the uncooked shrimp which only takes about two minutes to cook through. Also, though I doubt its really allowed, I put a small dash of red pepper flake in it. I've kept an eye on it and it doesn't seem to affect me yet, but if I stall that'll be the first thing I stop.
Glad the tomato and shrimp hasn't caused stalls. For some people both cause issues. Also, you are correct, the red pepper flakes should be avoided.
I have completed four rounds of HCG and what worked for me in one round or caused stalls did not necessarily create the same results the next time. It is almost like a pregnancy...each one is different. I followed all the "suggestions" and avoided all the potential stallers my first two rounds and sort of "threw caution to the wind" the last two and ate everything allowed on P2 and my daily average loss was the same for all four rounds. Did not seem to make any difference in my losses if I ate very cionservatively or ate the full range of allowable P2 foods.
I've avoided shrimp and toms for over 30 days, added them in and I've had my biggest losses! Every Body is different. I also have zero problems with a little red pepper flakes.
I love making the marinara and then adding either the tilapia or shrimp and cooking them in the marinara, like a seafood soup. Really yummy!!! And for me, no problem.
I am hoping shrimp doesnt cause me problems this roundI have not had shrimp yet... I lost everytime I ate shimp in round 1 R2P2D6
Hope so , too. Sounds like you are doing well, Melanie.
I found an HCG shrimp recipe on Pinterest where you add 1/4 cup of vinegar, water and a few dashes of old bay. Start to boil the shrimp in the water until a few float and it's done. (The water may or may not come up to a boil.) The shrimp will continue to cook when you take it out of the water. I like it with a side of grilled asparagus.
