    Mock fish soup

I love fish and one of my favorite things to eat is Ciopinno. So my Local Safway had Cod fillets on sale so I decided I would try to make an acceptable version of this that I could enjoy!! I made enough for 4 meals.

    Tomatoes diced
    4 100 gram cod fillets
    half of a lemon juiced
    Seasoning to your desire!!!

Cooked the fish in a bit of water ( enough to cover bottom of pan) took fish out and cooked my tomatoes down and seasoned to my tasting.

I have to say this is super yum!!! I am enjoying a bowl right now!!!

I love the fish soup, Amy. It became the only way I could get the fish down after so many rounds. Glad you are enjoying it!

I am a fish person I love fish!!! The great thing is you could make this with shrimp as well!!! Jacque taught me how to make chili this way as well I like that too!! I don't think I would mind P2 so much if there was a bigger range of recipes!!! I might have to spend some time thinking about different ways to cook things and perhaps come up with some different stuff!!

It is tough with the limited choices. A friend once said that you have to look at eating in P2 as fuel only and not enjoyment, and that helped me a bit. But the chili and marinara with the fish and chicken really get me through, as well as the protein shakes that I use ma few meals a week.

Yourhcg has protein powder that you can buy and I mix it with frozen strawberries and spinach.
