    Asparagus with Lime and Ginger

1 1/2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed
    2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    1 teaspoon grated lime zest
    1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
    2-3 drops liquid stevia
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Steam asparagus 4-5 minutes until tender crisp. While waiting wisk remaining ingredients. When asparagus is ready, place in a serving dish and drizzle with ginger lime mixture and serve. Makes 3-4 P2 servings.

This is a P2 modification of this Allrecipes recipe. further in line with original protocol would be to switch out the lime for lemon and use powdered ginger.

This will be fine for Phase 3 not Phase 2. Lime, ginger and cilantro isn't allowed on Phase 2.

I did note the protocol shift for the ginger and lime (I didn't realize that cilantro was verboten, but I rarely use it, so it hasn't come up).
I do often use powdered coriander, which adds a "cilantro like" bright note to my food.
