Ladies, this is important. Be sure to measure once a week. Pick a day that you can measure first thing after weighing and taking your drops. Do it every seven days. I picked Sundays because they were usually relaxed time wise, not rushing off somewhere.

Went for a bra fitting last night. Yes, my size changed (band went down), and OMG, for the first time in about 20 years I fit into some beautiful, colorful, playful things! I didn't go crazy and buy a lot of things, because on my first round my shape changed much more dramatically in P3 than P2, but I bought something that fits and I'm so much more comfortable today, not to mention that my clothes look better.

At my rehearsal last night, one of my friends asked if he could take a picture of me to email one of our members who's on hiatus, to show her what I've been doing. It made me so happy, that my efforts are finally showing.

Oh, how cool that is Linda! Yes, I'm a singer/musician. What kind of music do you do?

We are a variety band in two different forms. First is a 3 piece band I play drums and sing that band covers music from the 1930's to present. Jazz Standards, Pop Standards Classic Rock, Country - old and new. It really depends on the shows. We work a lot of Country Clubs, Yacht Clubs, Resorts, Casino's etc. Then we work as a 5 piece Country Dance / Show Band which also covers Classic Rock. For those shows I move out front to just be the lead singer. We are called Sundance Band. Believe it or not, that band pays the bills for the most part. Yourhcg is a part time gig. The band is full time.

How very cool! How do you find Hcg affects your voice? I know what Dr. Simeons said about it; in my first round, I was amazed at how clear my voice felt throughout the round. Do you find it makes a difference for you?

This round has been a little different. This is always the slow time of the year for me, which is one of the reasons that I chose to do my round now. I've only had a few gigs this month, and they were hard for me. But I think it was mostly an energy issue, which you've helped me past. I have a couple of gigs coming up in the next week or so, it'll be interesting to see how they go.

I am a singer and wind instrument player, as well as a songwriter and a voice teacher. I also have two main groups right now; I have a jazz duo with a guitarist, playing at restaurants, wineries, cabarets, etc., and I also play and sing with a Renaissance recorder group, for weddings, faires, and that sort of events.

It's really important it is to me to feel attractive when I perform. Hcg has been such a blessing to me. I tried on a gig outfit today which hadn't been fitting so well lately, and I think I'm going to wear it next week!

So last 2 days I didn't have any losses. Today I lost 1.6! Very happy. I had cut down to 1 fruit a day..either apple or orange. Yesterday I switch to just a 1/2 a grapefruit. I'll continue this to see if that made the difference! 10lbs to go and I have until 3/9.

I only had a few shows when there were issues and funny enough the problems occured on load in. I work as a musician full time meaning I work at least three days a week. So gigging & protocol HAD to work - there was no option. My voice did not change at all. However, I might have seen a reduction of mucus due to the limited dairy in my diet. I will agree that in our line of work begin thin is pressure we females feel when on stage. The rest of my band are males can eat anything they want - and usually do!
