    Linda's Fajitas

    Linda’s Fajitas

1 ½ pounds protein Steak (Round, London Broil whatever) or Chicken
    1 Medium onion, sliced
    1 Green Bell Pepper, sliced
    2 Cups mushrooms, sliced
    1 clove garlic, minced
1 Cup low sodium Beef Broth

In an iron cast skillet grill steak, add garlic, onions, Bell pepper
Add seasonings – paprika, cracked pepper, salt,
    Add broth and cover.

Cook for 20 minutes over medium heat.

This is awesome! Even without the tortillas.

I love fajitas and don't mind not having the tortilla... I am Spanish and we are use to using Adobo All purpose seasoning/Goya, Sazon Goya(yellow envelope) is this ok.. Some other that I have pre-made contain dehydrated onion/garlic/ as well as tri calcium phosphate to prevent caking. I am in phase 3 middle of week 1

Let me know how you enjoy it and what you have added to the recipe to give it your own flair.

That's a lot of meat...12 oz per serving. It sounds tasty though! I would add cumin and chili powder and maybe some green chiles!

Like I said, I made a couple of meals out of it. One time I used it as a lean day and it worked perfectly.
