    Are the HCG protein shakes good to use the first few days of P3 when trying to get a lot of protein? Just want to make sure I'm ready. Thanks

    Not sure about the protein shakes, but I am pretty sure ground beef is week 3 of phase 3 or later...
    All natural, Certified Organic blends, spices, marinades, and other foods! Many gluten free products as well!! Most products are very low in salt, and sugar. Go to my website to check it out and/or place online orders, that can be shipped directly within the 50 states, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands!! There are a few spices/blends that are compatable {for me} with Phase 2!! Ask which ones are working for me!

    Not until the end of week 1 would I recommend protein shakes. Make sure they have no hidden sugars in them.

    I would add the dark meat around day 5 or 6.

    R1P2D9 I'm following a vegetarian regimen. I realize that I won't be losing a pound a day doing so, but I wanted to confirm that possible meals could be:
    100 g of fat free cottage cheese + 6 strawberries and handful of cherry tomatoes
    Jay Robb Whey protein shake + strawberries and 2 Persian cucumbers
    1 egg + 2 egg whites boiled + spinach

    Is this acceptable?

    Also, in planning for P3, protein loading those first few days, would this be sufficient for a sample day:
    breakfast: 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites, tomato, spinach
    snack: whey protein shake + strawberries
    lunch: fish with lemon, vegetables with 1 T olive oil
    snack: whey protein shake + 1/2 C almond milk
    supper: fish with lemon, vegetables no oil
    snack (in needed) whey protein shake + strawberries

    For Phase 2, the cottage cheese and Whey protein can slow weight loss so keep that in mind.

    During Phase 3 high protein days I would have a lot of boiled egg whites as snacks instead of protein powder.

    Also, check out the frozen section for vegetable burgers. If the contents do not have any starch or sugar you can have those during Phase 3.
