    Thanks Nancy. Can you start mixing veggies on P3? Can I make him an omelette with onions and mushrooms and peppers? (no cheese at first, right?)

    Absolutely! Just be sure not to use any starchy veggies, like beans, peas, carrots and for some reason, no zucchini. Onions, mushrooms, peppers, summer squash, broccoli, cauliflower, greens, etc...all are fine. I usually wait on the cheese until the second week, as long as I am stable, though some add it in sooner. Wait at least until he gets through the protein loading and remember not to add too much at once until you see how your body is going to react to it.
