Okay so it's day 2 for me, I guess I was a little disappointed. I lost the load weight plus 1 pound. I was hoping for a solid two pounds today.
I know that beef is not recommended, but I wanted to be clear if I eat beef maybe once every other week, it is aparagus that I should not pair it with???

Your load weight was less than a lb? Then I'd say that's a great first day!
So I was wondering since I haven't been around.... How long since your last round and how much have you lost total? It's R3 for you right?
I'm calling this R3 but I've tried several times to complete this round with no success in the past! Hoping I'm ready now! I've regained some of what I lost in R1 & R2, why? Bc I ignored the rules that's why..... So I'm just pretty much trying to start over, relose it and get the reset and maintain!!!!

so far today:
coffee (tbsp milk and stevia)
2 bottles of water
lettuce and chicken (lightly seasoned and sprinkled with lemon juice and salt)
next up... another bottle of water with lemon after the nasty nasty acv.... here I go... ;)

Sara, no I gained 3.4 on my two load days and I lost that plus one. I was just hoping for 2 lbs.
I have to say that I am struggling already. I would like a cup of coffee but only enjoy it with creamer so I will not drink it.
I am also already concerned about getting back to exercise once I complete this round. I feel exercise is very important especially at my age.
Please don't put the cart before the horse. When it is time to increase exercise I will help you through it if you wish. Regardless, you will want to increase the exhertion slowly at the end of Phase 3.
OIC... so you lost 4.4? that's great! most ppl take 2-3 days to lose load weight!!!! so you are already doing great!
I'm the same with coffee, but I'm forcing myself to drink some with the tbsp milk and hazelnut stevia b/c I know the caffiene will help my withdraw headaches...
just keep up your routine by walking in place of the other exercise you have been doing so the time doesn't disappear and when it's time you can slowly start back in like Linda is saying! I managed to walk today which for me is good b/c that exercise time has definately disappeared! I would love to do either x stretch or light pilates in the mornings, but for that I have to first get more sleep! hahaha
supper was good, so good I was like is this cheating??? hahaha fish and "sauted" (with lemon juice both things) onions, sliced apple, and a breakstick, water with the rest of my lemon juice and lemon drop stevia... I'm telling you the spices were perfect blend and I'll never be able to recreate it but it was sooooo good!!! hahaha now my lips are sealed until morning!!!!
Linda, I plan to take it slow. I was just saying that only walking will get boring for nearly 10 weeks. Not sure I am going to be able to enjoy Yoga it's just not my thing.
Great losses, girls. I started out well this morning with my lean eating, but then my son is still here and wanting to eat out everyday...ugh!!! Shared a pizza with him, but only one piece, so it could have been worse. My life will be my own again on Saturday when he goes back to Galveston...can't wait :)
Have you tried cinnamon apples, cubed and zapped in the microwave? I love them hot and also cold the next day as a snack. One of my favorite things on P2...yummy!!

FitMom - what kind of exercising do you normally do?

Thought I'd check in with everyone. Dec 12 I was still hovering 2 pounds below LDW. Well...I made it through to 1/1/2013 still in range, but right at the top! I've been eating lean the last 2 days and hope to get back off the proverbial ledge. I'm in my 8th week of P3. I'm so glad my house is purged of all the temptations.
Not so much a check in for encouragement yet! Just ordered yesterday and hope to start loading on the 12th. I have been through one round about 3 years ago, and kept the weight off until last year. A series of events caused me to hop onto that path of emotional eating... and I have packed on some of the weight I dropped. I hope I can show a little more self control after this time around! 40 pounds total dropped last time. Be nice to do that again.
Look forward to sharing my progress, along with my wife who is doing it too, with everyone here. She is not an online junkie like I am so i will babble for the both of us!

R1P2D5 down 6 lbs. Since I am still off and I woke up a little late, I am going to try to have my fruit with lunch today if I don't get too hungry before 1 pm.
Sara, I am use to kickboxing and crosstraining as well as a little jogging. I got the wonderful XTRAIN series from Cathe and that will be my program when I can get back to working out. It will do wonders for toning.

I will be training hard once I get this jiggle back under control. I workout now, but it is so much easier to move with that initial drop of the adipose anchor!

kickboxing is fun! do you do videos or classes? if videos you could do them and just really lightly so it's not a harder workout than walking... you know just real low intensity, soft kicks etc? just trying to figure out a way to keep things mixed up for ya! ;) goodluck!
Welcome to you and your wife! It is so much easier when you have good support right in your home and easy as pie when you are both on protocol together...LOL A good many of us are also trying to lose some extra pounds that were regained, so look forward to having you both.

I have done 5 rounds over the past two years and tried to get hubby to join me, but he was not onboard...supportive, but not liking the strict P2. During that time, I lost 90 pounds and he lost about 40, but just could not get below 200, no matter what he did. He jumped around between 210-220 for over a year. Finally, late last summer, I convinced him to do a short round and his LDW was 195 and he has been maintaing around 192...before Christmas, that is. Finally broke below 200. I am sure he is back over 200 now, but we are back to lean P3 eating and hope we can both get off the extra pounds without another round. We have two bottles in the closet if needed, though he is still saying no more for him :) We shall see...

R3P2D6 for me and another 2.6 lbs gone this morning! (Total 8.6). I am feeling so good! 11.4 more to go and I am at the weight I want to be. Then, I start training for my 2nd half marathon. This second 1/2 marathon should be easier than the 1st as I won't be carrying an extra 30 lbs of fat on me!
Linda, I will heed your advice about restaurant dining. I can stay away for the 23 days. . .

Just wanted to say hi to everyone! It's been a while since I posted. I find I really stalk the boards when I am actively in P2 and trying to keep myself disciplined :)
R2P4D8. 1.9 above LDW but TOM is here and I pretty much pigged out during New Year's so I am not concerned yet. Drinking tons of water and trying to do the lean and green thing :D
On a side note, I felt like the 8 weeks between rounds 2 and 3 would last forever, but it seems like the time has flown by. I should be starting my third round towards the end of this month and cannot wait! I started this with 60 pounds to lose, and now I only have about 25 more to go to be at my goal. Why did I not do this sooner!?

R3P2D7 and I am down 0.4 this morning. I had hoped for more but am satisfied with a loss. My total this round is 9 lbs (if you count what I weighed after 2 load days). I am going to walk today and that will be good for my body and spirit!

Just coming in to say bleh! to the 9lbs. I gained during the loading phase of my R2.
I am happy to say that they are gone!!!! My P4 weight was 224.
My two days of loading put me at 233.0 Oy!

R1P2D6, down 2.8! I am happy with that. I hope it continues at this rate, but I know that this is a good day. Will keep at it though to get to goal.
I am going to get on the treadmill later on, I have some energy and I need to burn it off before I go to bed. I have not been sleeping well, even with having chamomile tea before going to sleep.
I am thinking of trying a different kind of fish today, maybe some flounder. I am also trying not to think of just chicken/fish for the rest of the month because that will make me tired and bored just thinking of it :)
I think I will allow myself some beef once every other week and on a Wednesday, so if it stalls me, I will have a chance to get it off before the week ends.
Sara, I thought about the low impact of kickboxing, but it's a class. So I don't know. I have several tapes, but I will try to refrain from doing them until the end of the round.

R1P2D7 down .8! Today I think I will have grape tomatoes with lunch, been having lettuces and cucumbers mostly. I am a bit of a picky eater so my choices are limited.

P4 and Freaking out just a tiny bit. I was planning to start loading on Monday or Tuesday, but I have gained weight every day the last few days so I am suddenly almost 5lbs over LDW. I was wistfully hoping to be below LDW when I started loading on Monday or Tuesday, and now I'm freaking out that I'm going to have to lose an extra 10lbs before I even begin my downward P2 journey.
I am so motivated by everyone being on their P2 journey that I am tempted to skip the big birthday bash and just start loading today!
