So here is my story. I started the HCG protocol in 2011 after I heard that my sister in-law was getting injections and my mother was purchasing drops from this site. I think I did 3 rounds of HCG that year, two in the spring and one final one in the fall. My starting weight was 435 lbs and the lowest I dropped to was 275 lbs. I am 6'8" and have always been a big guy. I had never been under 300 lbs as an adult so hitting 275 was AMAZING! This was one of the only diets I have ever stuck with, even though they food wasn't the greatest and boring, I got it done. I was on a mission to not be a 40 yr old fat guy and accomplished it.

Around the same time that I lost all the weight, my father had been in poor health and passed away. This wasn't a shock, he was sick for years but I think it contributed to what happened next. When coming off of the diet I was craving sugar and starch, to the point that I was binge eating pastries every other day. Donuts on the way home from work in the morning, breakfast sandwhiches all kinds of stuff. Over the following year I gained back 95% of my weight. Last November I hit the big 40 and of course the weight is affecting my health. Now I have high blood pressure, pre-diabetic, low testosterone and diminished sex drive because of all this.

So...here I am again, week two of P2 and feeling good. I haven't cheated and NEED to drop all this weight.

HI Mike - If you need any help w/ the diet, please let us know. I definitely think you can do it this time and keep the weight off long term. ~ Sadie

Thanks Sadie, 2nd week still going strong. Lost 12 lbs the first, not too shabby. Not craving sugar or starch so that is a good thing. Had a craving for hot peppers though, lol.

Hi Mike - It's weird what our body craves when we can't have it. Anytime I'm on the diet, I crave bell peppers. Great job on your loss! Keep it up! :) ~ Sadie
