You are on phase 2 if you are taking the drops, and no, not recommended. Just London Broil and only occasionally for that.

Melanie, as Barbara has pointed out before and I would like to reiterate, Beef in the US is marbled in fat. Therefore a more advised cut of meat instead of beef is veal. Many have had great luck with it on protocol. You might consider giving it a try.

I have "top round"and I cut it up into the proper serving sizes, I wanted to have a "steak week" but i heard you can only have steak twice a week.

Try it once, on a day when the rest of your foods are things you've been eating and trust, to see how you do. If it yields a good loss, try it again in a few days.

I agree with Barbara, every body is different. It may be that your body does well on beef when on protocol. Try it once and you will know. Always make sure you have the leanest cut - the least marbled with fat - of Round steak. If you wind up gaining I would move to other protein options such as chicken, fish or veal.
