Are there any restrictions on exercise in phase 3 after the protein loading days?

Yes there are, we don't advise you to start an exercise program until the third week of Phase 3 as we want you to stabilize in weight loss during this time. However, if you are an athlete and are used to exercise you can start earlier slowly increasing the exercise over the course of Phase 3. However, no weight training / lifting until Phase 4.

Linda what about if we are on R6? Do I have to wait 12 weeks (till P4) to start back regular exercise?

No, just wait the 3 weeks into P3 to increase cardio. Then slowly add in weight training and intense workouts.
