I know that this isn't on the approved list, but I've been using Blistex Complete Moisture and it seems to be scale-friendly. Just thought I'd pass it on (chapped lips were a big problem for me on my first round).

As you go along, it may be responsible for stalls so please stop using if this happens.

It will absolutely be something I will be looking out for Linda!

Awesome! Let me know if something comes up.

Is there something else that you can suggest? Mineral oil just makes the problem worse and aloe vera does nothing at all.

Cornhuskers Lotion works well. Ignore the flavor though.

I'll give it a try - thanks!

I also suffer from chapped lips. Is Alba Bontanica ok? I heard Alba products were ok?

No. Sorry. Stick only Cornhuskers or baby oil for the lips.

The protocol says that lipstick is OK, are some brands better than others?

Actually avoid those lipsticks with "moisturizers" added.

Do you have anything specific to suggest?

Every one I've looked at says it has moisturizers added.

If the label reads moisture added lipstick don't use it. There are moisturizing additives in ingredients of all lipstick, that's ok. We want to avoid those with EXTRA added.

OK, I'll look again. I'm back to using mineral oil again, and we'll see how it goes and what else I find - I'll let you know.

Sounds great. I always love new insights of products that work on protocol.

Aidan, actually chap stick is not allowed while you are on the hCG protocol. The original protocol calls for Baby Oil and that is what most people use.

I use chapstick and I'm still loosing a pound a day I've had no problems with it. I use cetaphil lotion on my eczema as well and again no interference. Id say if you lips and skin hurt by all means use it... This is just my experience.

I understand Leeann. I am so happy you didn't suffer a stall from it's use. I am always careful to advise those things that will least interfere with the protocol.
