So, today was my first day of the low cal diet. I had a lot of sudden things happen today so I had like no time to eat anything until about 25 minutes ago.
I was just wondering if you can eat Melba toast and fruit in place of the protein for lunch and then have dinner and still eat Melba toast or a fruit and some veggies for a snack. Also, if you miss lunch can you pair it with dinner?
Things get really crazy around here on a regular basis so I often don't get to eat lunch (or breakfast) and instead I end up only eat dinner (which is usually a little bigger to make up for the other meals) and then a few hours before bed I have an apple or two and I usually try not to eat 3 hours before bed. What ways can I combine or switch around the foods in the protocol in the event that I miss lunch? Aside from getting protein to help with hunger, is it imperative to eat every meal?

Also, what do you do if you miss a set of drops during the day?

There are no substitutions allowed for anything, sorry. You can only eat 1 of each of the categories in one sitting. You can spread out the food throughout the day

Grissini breadsticks made with olive oil?! That would be a no no, right?

Actually, I have not heard of any issues specifically with the Olive Oil ones. I do know that any form of breadstick will eventually cause a stall in weight loss. Most people drop them altogether.

Okay. So then is it better to stick with the Melba Toast or can that cause a stall as well?

Both are known to cause stalls. However, you may be the exception to the rule where this is concerned. Some people don't stall at all, most do.

So on average, what should you expect to lose in a day. My first day I lost 1.6 now it seems to only be 1.0. Should I adjust something or this about normal?

The average weight loss for women is .5 -.8 per day. This is over the course of the entire protocol.
