Can we cook with a little red wine in P3?
I was thinking I'd make a pot roast with London Broil to see if that made it a little less tough and stringy.
I Usually use about 1/4-1/2 cup of red wine in my baking liquid.

I was thinking I would cook it with onions/tomatoes and look at the "non-starchy vegetables" list and pick a couple from there. I am surprised to see carrots and beets and turnips. We love doing a root vegetable medley, and with tomatoes and mushrooms I don't think we'll miss the potatoes at all :)

No sorry. Red wine has sugar affects on the blood stream. Please do not use until Phase 4. Please don't use the carrots, beets for their sugar affect on the blood stream. Turnips should not be on that list of non-starchy veggies. Can you point me to the list so I can have it corrected?

*sigh* I figured that would be the answer about the wine. LOL
Bummer on the root veggies. (although as I say I WAS surprised to see them on the lit)
Here is the link, it is from the "Instructions for P3" at the top of the P3 forum:
