Does anyone know anything about sprouted grain bread? Wondering if it's ok for P3? I have Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted grain, it's label states it's a complete protien (No flour used), is this still considered a carb/starch?

I ate this bread starting my second week of Phase 3 and never had a problem. I know others on this board have used it also. I only ate 2 slices a day - it's not very flavorful (and it's really dry) but it's better than nothing.

yes it is still considered a carb because it is still a grain. I asked this question when calling the phone line on my last round, last January and that was the answer which seems right to me. But ask Linda for sure sureness. I love that bread and it IS WHAT IT SAYS AND because it has no flour in it, it doesn't quickly turn to fat the way flour does. It is awesome, just for p4 not p3.

So true Taraj. Sprouted grain is a wonderful alternative on Phase 4 Life Phase.
