What exactly is London Broil? What cut of meat is it? I asked the lady in the meat dept and she said another cut of meat was "almost the same as" but I need clarity. Thanks!

Technically speaking, london broil is not actually a cut of meat, but a method of preperation. It is very lean and is similar to round steak and flank steak. It is really not recommended, though, for P2, even though it is addressed in Pounds and Inches by Dr. Simeon. He was from Italy and the beef there is much leaner than beef in the US. Veal is a better choice, though very pricey. Alot of people stall or gain when they have london broil.
